Visit the Halloween Carnival at American Leadership Academy, Saturday, 10/31 from 1-4pm and again from 6-8pm.
Instead of spending Saturday afternoon listening to your kids ask "Is it time to go Trick or Treating yet?" head to Spanish Fork for a fun, indoor carnival! Activity booths require tickets, which are .50- $1.00 each.
Kids can decorate Trick or Treat bags, eat donuts on a string, throw darts at balloons, get their palms read, take their turn trying to win a live gold fish, get their face painted and lots, lots more! Take a walk down Spooky Alley {pictured above!} and experience some kid-sized thrills! {Older kids and adults can visit between 6 and 8pm for an even scarier fun!}
Feed your family dinner (a bowl of soup or a hot dog is just $1.50 and comes with the drink!) and you'll be ready to go Trick or Treating when you get home. American Leadership Academy is located at 898 West 1100 South, Spanish Fork.
Snowbird is having their Customer Appreciation days starting tomorrow, 10/31! They're offering free tram rides up the mountain for those who bring a donation for the Utah Food Bank! One can of food equals one free ride. In lieu of food, a $2 donation can be made for a ride. Bring food items to the front entrance of the Snowbird Center. More info here.

S.L. police open doors to trick-or-treating
Salt Lake police officers are accustomed to dealing with shady characters.
But on Friday, their building will be filled with ghosts, goblins and maybe even Spider-Man.
For the second year in a row, the police department will open the Public
Safety Building, 315 E. 200 South, from 1 to 4 p.m. for parents to take their children trick-or-treating.
"It creates a safe environment for children and provides a welcome change to the daily routine of our officers," said Police Chief Chris Burbank. In addition to meeting members of the SWAT team, K9 unit and the bomb squad, children and their parents will also be able to see bugs and bats provided by the Utah Museum of Natural History, and snakes from Hogle Zoo.
Child ID kits will also be available.
